Tim Ramsier, CRPC

Tim is the original founder and now Co-Owner of Ramsier Financial Services. He has been in the financial services industry since 1983 and brings a wealth of financial planning experience to clients as well as an abundant positive attitude. Tim's focus is on providing retirement planning for clients and specializes in tax-advantaged investing. He is a Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC), earning this designation in 1998 from The College for Financial Planning. Tim is also an Investment Advisor Representative through Multi-Financial Securities Corporation. He believes in building long-term relationships with clients, preparing them for their retirement years and beyond.

Tim was born and raised in Wayne County and was a graduate of Norwayne High School and ATI Wooster Ohio, a branch of Ohio State University. He is a member of the Million Dollar Roundtable, an international association for professionals in the life insurance and financial services industry. He is also a member of Wayne-Holmes Life Underwriters Association.

Tim and his wife Jonell reside in Wayne County, and are parents of four children Kelly, Katie, Heidi and Chad.

Tim is currently taking new clients by referral only.


Brent Steiner, CFP™

Brent joined Ramsier Financial Services in April 2000 and recently in 2010 became a Co-Owner with Tim Ramsier. He focuses on retirement planning for clients and small businesses and has worked extensively with clients who need help with IRA's and 401(k) rollovers from previous employers.  In 2003, Brent earned his Certified Financial Planner™ designation from the CFP Board of Standards and is a member of the Financial Planning Association (FPA). In 2001 he became an Investment Advisor Representative through Multi-Financial Securities Corporation.

Since 2007, Brent has also been a member of the Financial Educators Network and has been hosting a spring and fall class called "Retirement Planning Today" at the University of Akron, Wayne College in Orrville.

Prior to joining the firm, Brent was employed for more than seven years at Novartis AG where he served as a field sales representative and as a field sales trainer. 

Brent is also a Wayne County native having graduated from Norwayne High and is also a graduate of Ohio University, where he earned a dual degree in Business Management and Human Resource Management.

Brent and his wife Andrea live in Smithville with their four children, Jacob, Isabel, Jonah and Sadie.


 

Doug Ingold, Registered Representative

Doug joined Ramsier Financial in the spring of 2008, as the company was growing and the need to continue to serve our clients is a #1 priority. Doug spends a lot of his time helping Tim & Brent with rebalancing, financial analyses, and getting to know their clients. He is a Licensed Insurance Producer in the State of Ohio, and holds series 7 & 63 Securities Registrations. He currently is enrolled in the Chartered Financial Consultant program, where he is working on earning his ChFC Designation.

In addition to work, Doug enjoys spending time with his wife Joanna and their 4 children Tori, Tagen, Reese & Ryder. Doug also enjoys spending time as a Trustee of his church, and raising some farm animals with his children.
 


Teri Nieman, Office Manager


Teri joined Ramsier Financial Services in April of 2006 and is generally one of the first voices you hear when calling RFS. Teri plays a big part in not only processing new business, but tracking rollovers and transfers, following up on checks and check requests, and making sure that transactions that were scheduled to happen, are in fact happening. Many requests for information, or other service related activities on your account can addressed to Teri or any other member of our staff. Previously, Teri served 14 years as office manager for Loyola of the Lakes, a Jesuit retreat house in Green.

Teri has 3 children and lives with her husband Boyd in Sterling.


 

Dan Artrip, Administrative Assistant


Dan joined Ramsier Financial Services in April 2010. He handles a variety of administrative functions from scheduling appointments to processing new and existing business. Dan is a graduate of Grace College where he double-majored in Business Administration and Finance. Previously, he spent time working for National City Bank (now PNC) in their management trainee program.
Dan Artrip is a Wayne County native and currently resides in Wooster with his wife Jessica.


 

Janis Steiner, Administrative Assistant


Janis joined Ramsier Financial Services in September of 2007. Her role is to provide support for all registered representatives, prep files for appointments, complete client service requests, complete scheduling and work on special projects. Janis also spends time working with her family at Hartzler Family Dairy in Wooster.

Janis and her husband Dan have 3 children and live in Orrville.
